CASA Book Club
CASA for Douglas County will host conversations from February to March on the book Biased: Understanding the Hidden Prejudice That Shapes What We See, Think, and Do by Jennifer Eberhardt, PhD. Dr. Eberhardt is a social psychologist and professor at Stanford University, and conducts research on race, bias, and inequality. Check out her TED Talk, How Racial Bias Works and How to Disrupt It, above.
Participants are asked to read the assigned chapters of the book before meeting for Wednesday evening Zoom discussions from 5:30-6:30 pm:
February 10th - Chapters 1 & 2
February 17th - Chapters 3 & 4
February 24th - Chapters 5 & 6
Break on March 3rd - make sure to attend Wisdom Wednesday!
March 10th - Chapters 7 & 8
March 17th - Chapters 9 & 10
