Exciting Opportunity with a growing Environmental NonProfit!
Omaha Permaculture is looking to fill a position on our Board of Directors. This is a non-paid volunteer position which requires a time commitment of approximately two hours each month. The board meets bi-monthly (for two hours) to handle board business and keep abreast of what is happening in the organization. During the off-meeting months, board members spend their volunteer time in a variety of ways including fundraising, grant writing, process improvement, or helping with Operations. We are currently seeking a candidate with a passion for environmental sustainability and with strong organizational skills. If this sounds like you, read more about who we are and what the position entails.
Who we are: Omaha Permaculture is a 501c nonprofit whose mission is to foster community through sustainable land stewardship. We envision cities teeming with permaculture gardens where neighbors gather to harvest organic food, build relationships, and learn about the natural world. We strive to transform previously vacant lots into hubs for environmental restoration and community pride.
