American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Nebraska

Are you interested in learning how to present suicide prevention training in your community? Join the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Nebraska Chapter to learn how to deliver our introductory suicide prevention trainings, Talk Saves Lives and More than Sad. This will include guidance on presenting to multiple audiences including LGBTQ+ community, seniors, students, educators, parents, and general audiences. Tips on sharing your own connection to suicide safely, introduction to AFSP resources, and effective presentations skills will be included. Completion of this training will certify you to be a volunteer AFSP trainer for the Nebraska Chapter. Everyone is welcome. No experience necessary. THIS EVENT IS FREE!
