Become a Suicide Prevention Trainer for AFSP Nebraska

Are you interested in learning how to present suicide prevention training in your community? Join the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Nebraska Chapter to learn how to deliver our introductory suicide prevention trainings, Talk Saves Lives and More than Sad. This will include guidance on presenting to multiple audiences including LGBTQ+ community, seniors, students, educators, parents, and general audiences. Tips on sharing your own connection to suicide safely, introduction to AFSP resources, and effective presentations skills will be included. Completion of this training will certify you to be a volunteer AFSP trainer for the Nebraska Chapter. Everyone is welcome. No experience necessary. THIS EVENT IS FREE! Please register at the link below. Suicide is preventable if we all work together. Learn how you can bring this lifesaving information to your community to help save lives and support those affected by suicide. Spaces are limited! We can only take 20 volunteers so sign up soon while spaces are available! Future dates will be available.
