Saturday, June 29th 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm

This event is built specifically for individuals and families with loved ones on the Autism Spectrum. We have heard from many of you that you don't attend neighborhood barbecues or fireworks displays due to sensory issues. We believe everyone should have the freedom to celebrate the 4th of July in their own special way!

Our family-friendly event will include both indoor and outdoor activities. After dark, we will be hosting a fireworks display that can be viewed from your own lawn chairs under the stars or from your vehicle in the parking lot.

We are once again hosting TWO food-related contests this year, the dishes voted best side dish and best dessert will each win a $25 gift card!

Our indoor activities in the gym will include a movie, crafts, coloring pages, LEGOs, Thomas the Train. In our teen zone, for ages 12 and up, we will be having mocktails this year, along with the usual video games, board games, etc. Our adults on the spectrum picnic zone will be on the backside of the building, on the lush grassy area and be open until around 8:45pm.

Outdoor activities will include basic water play. Please wear appropriate attire (to get wet), bring a towel, and change of clothes. We encourage you to bring your own water guns. Parental supervision during all activities is required.

Fireworks will begin at dusk in the back parking area. Bring lawn chairs, or blankets to sit on for viewing the display. To accommodate noise sensitivities, ASN will provide earplugs or bring your headphones from home. Don't forget the bug spray as well! For the safety of all of our participants, NO outside fireworks will be allowed. Our fireworks display will be performed only by our professional fireworks crew in the designated area and only at the designated time - around 9:45pm, give or take.

Our events are run by generous volunteers, if you are interested in helping, we have a variety of opportunities. Contact

We look forward to celebrating a fun, safe, and autism-friendly Independence Day event with you and your family!
