Awarding-winning filmmaker, historian, literary scholar and cultural critic Henry Louis Gates, Jr. will deliver the 26th annual Governor’s Lecture in the Humanities - "Finding Your Roots" - on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 via livestream. The lecture and live audience Q&A is free and open to the public and may be viewed in person at the Holland Performing Arts Center in Omaha and at home online. The lecture is presented by Humanities Nebraska (HN) with co-sponsors Union Pacific and the University of Nebraska and an generous anonymous donor.
