2021 Skate-a-thon for Parkinson's

The Skate-a-thon for Parkinson’s is fun, family-friendly 24-hour ice skating fundraiser to support the mission of Parkinson’s Nebraska and increase access to Parkinson’s services in communities across the state! This year the event will take place on the last day of Parkinson's Awareness Month on Friday, April 30th- Saturday, May 1st from 2:00 pm- 2:00 pm at the Ralston Arena.

Participants will have access to unlimited ice skating, activities on and off the ice, games, food, and Parkinson's program demos.

This year we are excited to offer the first annual Virtual Skate-a-thon Event! This online event will include a 24-hour live stream of the ice, virtual games like PD Trivia, and Parkinson's programs and demos. No matter where you are in Nebraska, you can enjoy this fun event from the comfort of your home!

There are few ways to you can get involved with the Skate-a-thon this year:
• Join our peer-to-peer campaign
• Register to ice skate
• Create a Rock the Clock Team
• Participate in the Virtual Skate-a-thon Event

We wanted to make it easy for anyone across the state to participate in whatever way works best for them! All proceeds will stay in Nebraska to support our mission and grant-making program that provides funding and resources to Parkinson's programs and services.

More information, event schedule, and registration link coming soon!
